Blown away by the food

Brum Living blackWhen the team from Birmingham Living Magazine were in search of warmth and some serious comfort food, they found it here at the pub one chilly lunch time.

Red winePerusing the menu over a super Chardonnay and a pleasing Argentinian malbec, the ‘cracking lunch’ slipped down rather well. Smooth, creamy soup and warming Aubrey Allen’s faggots, with a wholly unnecessary but super dessert, all seemed to do the trick.

“It’s surely the winning combination of happy staff, a warm welcome, great wine and delicious food that has punters returning again and again.  If they had rooms, we’d still be there. We’ve heard great things about breakfast…”
