Our festival of gin is back…

13900100_494194737444184_5863920433127069348_n-2If your top tipple is gin and you’re in the mood for a more grown up kind of festival, why not head over to Ginfields on Saturday 22nd July, back for its second year. Homage to the great English drink, gin, we’ll be devoting an entire afternoon and evening to the fine stuff. There’ll be a big outside bar amply stocked with a range of classic and more unusual gins, a BBQ serving up some fantastic fresh food and a DJ spinning the decks.

Pop over any time after 2pm on the day and let us mix you a classic G&T with a large measure of your favourite gin – whether it’s Chase Pink Grapefruit, Bathtub, Monkey 47 or locally sourced and deliciously different Cotswolds Gin – you’ll get your gin served in a grand coup with tonic, fruit and plenty of ice.

Experts behind some of these brilliant gins will be there on the day to share their passion for gin and tell you more about how gin is distilled, plus giving you tastings to let you experience the different flavours of gin.  There will also be some special guest gins to try too.

“There’s nothing quite as distinctive as gin and it’s the perfect tipple, whether it’s long and refreshing or short and snappy,” says Sarah Robinson, 14034994_494194687444189_595908071363402451_n-1our General Manager. “I just love it, and we didn’t need to think twice about dedicating a whole day to it. Ginfields is just that – a celebration of everything that is great about gin – a gin lover’s dream. We’ll have all the elements of a festival lined up – music, food and of course gin, lots of gin, and if last year’s event is anything to go by, it’s all sure to slip down very well!  Tickets are already on sale so be sure to get yours here today as they’re already selling fast,” she adds.

If you missed out last year, check out the photos over on our Facebook page. Entrance costs £10 and includes a Grand Gin glass and a G&T on arrival. Driving after Ginfields is definitely NOT an option so it you fancy making a night of it, why not book one of the gorgeous rooms at The High Field Town House right next door?  Simply book by going to www.highfieldtownhouse.co.uk or emailing Bookings@highfieldtownhouse.co.uk.
