Wishing the dish would never end

Great to welcome back Roz Goodgame from The Foodie Couple blog when she came in the other week.  Roz was in to try out one of our stand-out dishes for spring – Dip Your Own Asparagus, a dish she wished would never end!

Popping in after work with fellow blogger Laura, who writes another fabulous foodie blog Full to the Brum, she was torn between the specials for the night before plumping for crispy beef and crunchy veg salad with a tangy dressing and the asparagus of course.

Both enjoyed their supper, plus the lovely, friendly service on the night, saying:

“We both started with an English Garden cocktail, served in a large goblet glass. It was tasty and refreshing. Obviously we then both ordered the asparagus – it came well presented, in a quirky but accessible way with dipping pots of home-made Hollandaise sauce, grated egg and Parmesan. A classical combination, it was executed really well with the asparagus well cooked and I enjoyed it immensely, wishing the spears of asparagus would never end!”
